Hello all! Just joined the forum.
I have a ford falcon AU II with the electrical passenger side window not winding up, but it can wind down. I can hear the motor when trying to wind it down, but nothing when the window is being wound up. Do you guys have any suggestions on what the problem could be? I thought it could be the window regulator or motor, but I am not too sure ( Looking into it myself as this is being posted! ). Many Thanks, Valencer. |

it 'maybe' a problem with the passenger switch as in pull apart & clean switch contacts

I have a switch on both the passenger side and the driver side. I tried both and they both do the same thing ( Hear a sound on when winding down, not up ). Ill take a look at the one on the passengers side clean the contact and/or make contact between the terminals for putting the window down and see if it works.

Cheers mad2! After some tinkering around i managed to get the window in the up position at least. I think you might be onto something about the driver side switch, so ill check it out when I get the chance!
Again, thanks for the help! ( Also, sorry for the late reply, really busy here ) |
