G’day guys,
So recently did a wicked modification of power windows in my AU II Falcon Ute (don’t know if this is relevant) and all was well and good until today. I took it for a drive after two days without starting it (letting it run for a bit of course to warm it up) and as I went to the end of the driveway, I noticed my interior light was on even when I checked if all doors and switch was off. I continued my drive and indicated right and noticed my interior light was blinking within sync to my indicator. I honestly laughed for a bit since I’ve seen so many vines on Facebook but annoyed at the same time. At one point I was parked with the car on (Ute is manual btw) and my radio died for about one second and came back without stalling, I’m assuming my cluster did too but not 100%. Then I got to my destination and I went to lock my car on the key-pad but it wouldn’t lock as it beeped twice as like the door wasn’t closed properly or something but they both were... and manually locking it doesn’t work either. So personal thoughts are: Either a glitch in the wiring when I did the power windows? Mind you the drivers side passenger switch is on opposite ( don’t think it would matter) Bcm is fried? Could it be the car being sitting here for two days and this has happened to grab all the charge from the locking mechanism and light to glitch out? Any help would be appreciated! Cheers |

Checked the battery yet or the wiring to the alternator?
Would also be worth checking all the connections everywhere. |

Well here’s an update,
All of a sudden it started to become normal again. But now my problem is that it drains my battery. My power windows are consistently on even when I turn off my car. Any suggestions?

|
