Anyone else noticed this in their E series Falcons? Out of curiosity last night I had the car at idle, with all the lights on, and in the interior, then I put on the hazards, I noticed the interior lights where dimming and going bright again with the hazards going on and off. The interior lights where and same with the dash.
How would one fix this? Thanks much, |

Prolly a good place to start is all your earth points...basically anywhere you can see a wire screwed to the car body to earth it out...Could also be your battery or alternator.

The battery is about 6 months old, but the battery terminals are rooted, I've got new replacements sitting here waiting but they're a different style, so I have to re-wire the white wire coming out of the relay panel to the battery and the red wire going to the starter (I assume?) and its half out of the terminal and corroded and put new lugs on them both for the new battery terminals.
The power steering hose is leaking, and the alternator was covered in grease, so wouldn't surprise me if its rooted. |

Its leaking from that power steering hose going into the pump, right underneath the nut. I'm going to replace the hose, hopefully that fixes the leak. It was idling for about an hour before I tried this too. |

It seems to get worse when the revs are higher, the more you rev it the dimmer it goes when it dims.
