Hey guys o/
I have a BA Falcon and I've had the issue of the key barrel back end falling off twice now. First time I had a auto locksmith come out and "fix" it earlier in the year, and now a few days ago it happened again So instead of paying someone to temporarily fix it again, me and my Dad decided to try it ourselves. We took it all apart and fixed the black back plate system as far as we could tell. But in the process of doing it all we also took the key barrel out of the column and now it wont go back in. As seen in the pic I will link... http://i.imgur.com/hMPyZe1.jpg The back end of the barrel doesn't match up with the inside of the column and we have no idea on how to correct it. So any help would be much appreciated |

It wouldn't turn at all, but we ended up having to put in a 2nd hand column, the wreckers did over charge me in my opinion (as he knew I was up s**t creek)
But its all in and working now, so all is well...for now. |
