Hi all,
Could someone please confirm if a 1993 mustang v8 alternator will fit in my 1993 nc fairlane? Like this one: http://m.summitracing.com/parts/tff-7716b/media Thanks |

It might. The one you linked to was an 86 bronco alternator.
You are much, much better off finding an EF or EL v8 Alternator - reliable, higher current, and bolt-in with just a small wiring change. Nigel |

The Wiring (plug) is best swiped from an EF or EL i6. Its also worth taking the whole Power wire from alternator to battery if you can (as its much higher rated) although in the old days we used to just run a new Main feed wire across in parallel, with a Short amount of fusable link wire joined in.
I have a few in my shed - I like to keep them spares. I had one NC alternator - it sucked Nigel |

Mate - Nope. Like I said - any EF EL i6 one will work - they are a dime a dozen especially on here.
The Alternator is V8 specific, but theyre around. ive had a few bargains on ebay |
