Got ba falcon classic with 6 stacker cd

However the lcd screen is scrambled

No radio
No a/c.

And central locking doesnt work

Its only stopped since battery was disconnected

None of the button seem to work.



Can any one help ????

Was the battery shorted or put on the wrong terminals or anything ? I have disconnected my battery many times with no issues.

Can you start it?
Sounds like you have a BCM (Body Control Module) problem. They are an issue on BA/BF's.
Take to an Auto Elect and have him check, if you DO need a NEW BCM, they are fairly cheap on Ebay, I have one here myself, a High Series one.
If it IS indeed the BCM, I would suggest you have it changed by either the Auto Electrician, if he can, or at a Ford dealer because, when you change them over they have to be programmed to your car and you Key has to be programmed as well.

Thanks, that was my belief, Can any one recommend a Local Auto elec that can do the reprogramme if i can get the BCM...

I am happy to help them change it on there site so they can do the reprogramme

I used to work at Thomson Ford and they were good customers of ours.
If you do need a BCM, I have a high series one here you could have cheap. :D

The vehicle is a XT Classic with 6stack. I will look tommorrow and check what colour BEM is installed.

Once i get a BEM i will contact those guy as there only down the road from work.

You can use a high series, they will suit an XT. The BRAND new ones are meant for either low or high series. :)
