Hi,

I've got a problem with the Odometer light on my Ford AU2 (Forte).

I went to Jaycar electronics to replace two burnt bulbs on my Odometer. Prior to fitting these, I stripped the wires to enable the bulbs to be fixed into their respective globe holders. I used a multimeter to confirm if they were still good.


All good, bulbs worked for about 2 weeks or so, then one particular night of the week, those bulbs no longer light up. WTF?

Once again I removed the instrument cluster, removed globe holder from odometer , check with multimeter, still have good signal. Fitted globe holder back into odometer, reconnect instrument cluster, still no light in Odometer.

Anyone know what the problem could be and how to resolve it?

Ford no longer has those odometer lights.
