Ok, so one day the odo display stopped lighting up.
Figured I would take the globes out turn them around and all of that, nothing.
Replaced the globes and tried many ways and STILL no light.
It's s**t me to tears trying to figure out why it isn't working, does anyone know much about it?

You sure the globes are good? Checked the ohms value of the filament in the globe? Checked for power at the tracks/terminals on the board where the globes go in through? This tells us if you have power there at least...

If you don't have you check all fuses with a test light or multimeter (visual indication proves nothing when it comes to fuses)...

Is it a diming issue, does different dimming levels vary it?

Cheers,
Tim

Definitely not dimming. Just had the circuit board out and checked the tracks for breaks there appeared to be none..
Tomorrow I will get a test light out and check there is actually power getting there ruling out my globes or not. If there's no power I guess it's time for a new cluster

Cheers

Then we'll work backwards and find which pins in the cluster plug should be supplying power and check to them... You keep working back until you find power again and hence where the break is...

You're just using std incandescent bulbs?

Cheers,
Tim

Checked with a test light and no power from it. I cant see it being a fuse because one fuse controls all the cluster lights..

Where the two little steel contacts in the bulb holder rub on the board, do you have voltage there?

You'll have to find yourself a manual now and see which two wires in the loom supply power and check at the loom connectors... My manual is corrupt and wont open...

The two wires for these are different to the illumination lights because they dim differently...

Cheers,
Tim
