hi everyone, had a mate put a new stereo into my au tickford xr8 and since he has i have no central locking, the auto close sunroof doesnt close and it always has power to the windows even after all night closed... does anyone have any ideas on what he has done and how i can make my car lockable again.. the fob shows the lights flashing but the doors, boot and alarm dont operate at all from the fob... please help so i can lock my car again :(

ive got nothing constructive to add besides that sux mate

more than likely something simple that's wiped it all out in one hit but im yet to play with my stezza sorry.

could be a whole loom plug was loosened, id be checking all them first

Did he run new wires to the door speakers?

Check the drivers side patch panel, the plastic thing with plugs behind the kick panel.

The door lock wires run through there and if he's cut the lock actuator wires to the drivers door then I think the whole network of door locks go down.
The AU's also have a door lock button below where the factory radio goes in, it may have come unplugged while putting the new Head Unit in but i don't know if disconnecting that will stop central locking from working.
