Hi fellas after driving my EL fairmont ghia around today my RHR window decided to not go up. It was working fine up until now and all of sudden just failed. (I know most of the time its what usually happens)

However I tried to even help pull it up but got nothing. So then I used a little force as I had my car in a parking lot and could not afford to leave the window down. So I finally managed to pull the window up however after a few seconds it just started sliding down again.

So my question is has the power window regulator failed or have it come off the track or both?

And does anyone know the price of a new genuine power window regulator from ford? I dont want to go aftermarket as they never last.

Sounds like its come undone at the bottom, pull the door trim off and have a look.
Most fords around that model have sticking windows and that happens, spray some silicon spray in the runner ,where the window slides and they won't stick.
