Hi Guys

I started to reinstall the dash on my Nl Fairlane today. When I was taking it out I thought I wrote down all the connectors but of course I have three mystery plugs. Here they are any help would be fantastic.

second one

Last one this one runs of the bit of loom that has the light under the glovebox
whereas the oither two are higher up but still on left hand side of dash.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

1. Blend door motor - can't see all wires, so not 100%
2. Glovebox light ??
3. Power antenna

Thanks snap
You were right
found power antenna wire
Glovebox light cannot find light but according to wiring diagram this is it. Do you know where this light shouls\d be.
The other plug I think is ATC servo assembly plug I think would this be auto temp control?

Cheers

Well Steve, on the RHS of the recess where the glovebox lid goes into, the light and switch push in, but those two wires fit through the hole and plug into it first. Be careful, easy to short the power line and blow the CRT LP fuse.
I think the other plug is the Blend door servo which sits on the top of the heaterbox - looks in your pic there is tape patch stuck there - maybe a non fairmont box has been put in, or hopefully, the blend door shaft hasn't been broken.

Ray

Hi Ray

Thanks for your help. It was the blend door servo. A bit of the sound deadening material had folded over and was covering the plug must have been like that from factory as it wants to stay that way. So a combination of failinhg light and my failing eyesight didn't help matters. Thanks again for your help.

No probs Buddy.

So every self test on the CC unit would come up with the favorite E2 fault code.

Once again thanks for the help. Now all i have to do is plug a few things in and hope I don't get any silly noises from BCM and everything works.

Be wise to do a CC self test before putting the dash back up - the BDM might've been unplugged for a reason.
