just doing a engine swap from 3v v8 to turbo 6 ,and the wiring loom apparently needs a bbm actuator .can i just get a auto electrician to wire separately to my loom or do i have to change the loom over ?.just about got the dash out of the wreck ,just the 5 mm allen key and one bolt near clutch pedal to go .and waiting for one of me mates to give me a hand to get it out . thanks for any help

Well i assume broad band manifold (bbm) actuator which opens/closes the inlet butterflies at certain revs. I was always under the impression that the turbos had no butterflies in the runners due to positive pressure of the turbos. So an actuator wouldn't be required...
Don't quote me though because my BA conversion knowledge is rather limited lol.... I probably shouldn't have commented at all Least I kept the thread alive haha
