And my answer would be no.
The excess heat will stuff the reflectors and cause the circuit breaker and wiring extra stress.

I recently asked a question, could I put 100w h3 globes in my XH Hi beam? I asked this as I was not sure. I recieved an answer from MAD2 from Geelong, yeah provided lights aren't plastic. Well my lights are glass and now very blistered! So I say to you MAD2, if you don't know what you're talking about, KEEP YOUR BIG MOUTH SHUT!! Your advise has cost me a new pair of headlights! Thanks!!!

Couldn't be glass lenses then or they would not have blistered

IF the inner pieces of the headlight are made from plastic DO NOT use high wattage globes. you cannot put em in the EA/EB/ED/EF/EL/AU/BA/BF/FG STANDARD headlights cox the main construction of the headlights IS PLASTIC. which IS what i said. if the front of the headlight blistered then it's NOT glass!

i like to use 90/130 & 120's and i would NOT use them in standard EA to FG headlights .... altho the EA/EB/ED front won't melt.

there is more to a headlight than just the front of it! also i believe the XH uses the same headlight as the EF/EL going by some pics i have seen? .. if that is so . . . IT'S ALL PLASTIC

if ya wanna use high wattage globes do so in an appropriately constructed headlight.

You've not provided any detail on the headlight makeup and are expecting advice from someone sight unseen - very easy to lay blame on someone else and not take personal responsibility for your own actions. Did you bother to do any other research ? I think we know the answer here.
It's probably likely the headlamps are the XR high beams, which are all glass. Being 20 or so yrs old and have aged somewhat, it wouldn't be wise to go any hotter filaments than the recommended 60w halogens.
But then we should've assumed this already before anyone answered ?

From experience the headlight will handle the extra heat providing you are driving, dont expect them to hold up with headlight protectors and stationary facing a wall it might melt the lense.
only thing to consider is that you have a 30a circut breaker behind the headder tank that may trip or cause your lights to flicker, so if your still keen you can re wire your highbeams with an additional realy.

I run 90/100w H4 main beam, and 100W h3 inner high beam on my DF LTD no problems been like that for months
