HI
I'm not much of a sparky but I couldn't believe how easy this was to make. $5 in parts from Jcar and 10min later one code reader. scanned the codes in Koeo and koer mode turns out I had a few problems that I was unaware of all fixed bar one well worth it. 12v led light 2 x clips 1 x spade connector

gogetta wrote: how does it work? when you put the car in diagnostic mode the ecu puts out voltage pulses which will make the led flash..you connect it to the diag port..(cant remember what pins) and you count the flashes between each pause and you end up with a list of times flashed. eg 1 flash, pause, 1 flash, pause, 1 flash= code 111 .. eg 7 flashes, pause, 2 flashes, pause, 6 flashes= code 726 |

Hi
The spade connector gos over the top and bottom left hand pins and the black croc clip gos on the 5th top pin from the left and the red one gos on the bottom right pin turn key to the on pos and start counting the flashes. The croc clips sit on the pins pretty good you need to get the small ones. I have attached the instructions I used.

Sorry not to sure on the EB's But the the problems that I had where TPI out of cal IAT not working and in koer mode I had a bad connection on the water temp sensor which was causing a fault code.
The car was running rich it seems to of settled down now.I am still having trouble with the AU IAT sensor does any one now how to test it I Have the specs for the EL one but I can't get a reading from the AU IAT. I have attached the docs that I used to test these Sensors. Thanks
