Just wondering what differences are between the 6DBA ecu and the 6DNB police ecu?? I always thought the 6dba ecu was from a standard 3.08 ratio GLi EL falcon, but I see they have updated the ECU catch codes.
Thanks....

I have one of these in my shed as a spare, about too sell it on Ebay. Just want to know what the difference is. The only thing I can think of is that it is programmed for auto changes with a 3.23 diff(EL opt 20 got that diff) and maybe something else.
I have tried the ECU in my fairmont and can't say I noticed any real difference. Although when I fitted the 6dja ghia ecu for a 3.45diff the auto changes were a little bit out a wack when slowing down and it would hold 3rd gear longer before changing upto overdrive-4th.

Didn't police ecu's score no speed limiter? I thought that and maybe an xr6 style tune.
Cheers ToranaGuy

Done a bit of searching, the ecu is found on opt 20 police sedans and EL falcon wagons as these ecu's have shift changes suited to a 3.23diff. Explains why I noticed not much difference between the fairmont ECU and this one....
