Is this a police ECU, been in the fairmont for about 6months now (got it free from a dark blue EL Futura wreck--exhaust fitter cooked my original fairmont ecu--bad idle problem after getting pacemakers fitted);
The reason why I ask this question is because an EBAY seller is seller the exact same ECU that is fitted to my fairmont as an EL Police ECU????? {DESCRIPTION} Cheers............

the best way to find out for sure is look at the compliance plate on the car and if it was police it will have option 20 stamped on it....

Yeah I know but the car had been D9 dozered and compacted by now. The ecu also had one of those warranty ECU recalibration stickers on it from DEC 2007. So it really depends what they loaded up..Although the heater on climate control doesn't work with this low series ECU.......
