So went for rego abs light wouldn't work on ignition found bulb was burnt out changed bulb now it stays in took it to ford and the said it wasn't getting power as I had a standard manual computer in my xr6 put auto computer back in an light is still on wtf starting to wanna burn it wasted two months rego from dodgy mechanics and need to fix it do u have to reset the light or should it just turn itself off when problem is fixed

Check for fault codes. There could be a fault with the ABS.

Ya think ? It's not getting power is what ford said do u have to do anything or will it turn off when problem is fixed and is abs tuned for each computer

If it's not getting power, then it will show as a fault, (light on). SAee what you can don to power up the ABS and see what happens, you may need to get the fault code cleared.

ABS is not tuned to a particular ECU etc.

Thanks And for the light will it turn itself off after new module is fitted if problem is fixed or do u have to get it turned off ???????

tried to bleed brakes and rear went as usual but when it came to the front there wasn't any pressure ?? whats could cause this or did I give up to soon punped up and cracked at least ten times each side still no fluid until loosening off bleeder screw till it was near out

Pull you bleeder valve out and clean it.

They block up with dirt and grime. Just use a small drill by hand.

Replaced module and bled brakes twice abs light still on checked code and said was left front wheel speed sensor replaced this and light still on how do I check if it's the wiring or a dodgy ecu

I did this before getting it checked an the code is showing up left front wss how do I test the wiring ?? And is there a usual place they wear or break

Thought I'd update this problem is now fixed the tone wheel must have been damaged looked perfect to naked eye but must have had a fault changed whole rotor and light went off easy !!!
