Looking at getting an aftermarket fuel pressure reg for my car.
My question is what happens with the stock one? Basically I don't trust it, and I do believe its dead. And Im installing my nitrous kit shortly and want to achieve consitent fuel supply. So do I just unplug the VAC line, and have the aftermarket fuel pressure reg inline? Or is there another way(thats not as dodgy).

Also what do people think of the fuel pressure below:

It has basically caught my eye, because it has a guage, and is cheap. But there is a holley one for $35 there without a guage and I know those definately work.

The $35 holley is only for carby engines, note it only goes to 14psi! I would also trust the factory reg above pretty much any adjustable reg, but obviously if you want more base fuel pressure you need the the adjustable one. I would look at a malpassi regs, they are more expensive at around $200 but its not worth going cheap on the fuel system, especially with nitrous or forced induction.

And yes, just leave the stock reg there and connect the adjustable reg in the return fuel line.

Good point about the holley...lol. Forgot about that. Yeah, malpassi would be nice.. I'll see if I can afford it then.
