hey everyone. i thought that this problem wasnt much of a problem until i go to the bowser and i must say its really annoying.

Anyways when i put the pump into the petrol tank hole thingy i cant pull the trigger all the way to get the fuel going in quickly. everytime i try even with an empty tank the damn handle clicks telling me its full.....when i hold the trigger down half way then it works fine but once i put a full load the trigger clicks again. what the helll could be causing this problem?

cheers

Hmm..

In my car and my mums getz i found rather than sticking the nozzle in the tank with the handle pointing straight down if i rotated it with the handle on an angle towards the back of the car it helps..

If not that, pull it out a bit ;)

when i had my old S pack falcon, the prick clicked 50 times before i filled my tank

Just rotate the handle a bit, and it will be fine. Also as a side note, to save holding the handle and getting a sore hand, shove the fuel cap under the handle, and it stays on!

at every petrol station ive been to it does it. so yeah lets hope rotating it will fix it....if not there must be something forcing the fuel back up and causing it to click. thanks for the suggestions everyone.

ill get back to u all in 2 weeks when my petrol runs out ;), i dont drive a lot so i save quiet a bit on petrol
