Guys, have had a sudden flurry of interest on the units.
History - I had made two batches through to October 2006. Had a heap left from the second batch... mostly guys who ordered but did not follow through.
Subsequently, I sold quite a few on Ebay. They have been quite popular there.

I have 4 units left.
The Forum members who are now interested (in order of enquiry) are:-
1. Steve1964
2. Narns1
3. Chappadoo
4. Borbo
5. Cy4NiD3
6. Hippy
7. Sammut351
8. Willygrice
9. mattymc

I've PMed each of you.

The remaining units are being offered at the original Forums price (much less than they have been selling on Ebay).

The supply is proposed to be based on the sequence above ( 1 - 9)..... which means up to 5 of you would miss out.

I can build another batch as I should be able to get more connectors in a month or so..... so the balance of the above list can become a backorder list.
Building more involves a significant outlay as the connectors and pins are quite expensive and I need to buy the cases and PCBs in batches of 25.... but, they have been doing well on Ebay so I'll take the risk.

I believe that this scheme is the fairest.

Looking forward to hearing from yous.

Best Regards.

Guys, units #2 and #3 are in process of being supplied to Narns1 and Chappadoo. Still waiting to hear from Steve1964 and Borbo.

I have begun arranging the parts to build more. Some of the items are out of stock with my suppliers and I'll get an ETA on those in the next day or two. At this stage looks to be 4 to 6 week delivery on units 5 to 9.

If anyone wishes to drop-out just send me a PM.... no drama at all.... just better for me to know so I can manage supply better.

Cheers.

Guys, an update.....

Still waiting to hear back from Steve1964 and Borbo regarding units #1 and #4 respectively... I'll give it a few more days.

All the bits are coming together for the next batch and looks like I'll definitely be able to get enough connectors to do about 15 units.

It's looking good for end of Feb for supply of the balance.

AU2's went to full OBD2 didn't they?

If so you'll need an OBD2 scanner. Or like what I got for my BF, a OBD2-to-USB converter and some software.

AUs are full OBD2 and this unit will not do the AU.
I do intend making one of those (will be a PC interface) but it is in a queue with a bunch of projects in front.

Sorry and Regards.

I got one of these (http://www.scantool.net/products/produc ... ucts_id=32) from an Oz disti. and use the 'PCMScan' software. If you're after one for BA and newer it needs to support the CAN protocol too.
