Just recievied my unit today fantastic service from muzza and a very professional piece of gear it is to, already found one fault on the ef today so the unit has/paid for itself already.

OBD1 Diagnostic Code Reader (DCR) for XF to EL Falcon/Fairmont/Fairlane/Ute, etc.

Includes XF, EA, EB, EB2, ED, EF, EL, XG, XH, ZL, NA, NC, NF, NL, FE, DA, DC, DF, DL.

Suits Six cylinder XF to EB with the diagnostic connectors in the engine bay.

Suits Six Cylinder and V8 models EB2 to EL with the 20pin diagnostic connector beside the fuse panel.

Read/Clear Engine codes on XF, EA EB, EB2, ED, EF, EL, XG/XH, ZL/FE NC/F/L, DC/F/L Fords.

Read/Clear Engine Transmission codes on EB, EB2, ED, EF, EL, XG/XH, NC, NF, NL, DC, DF and DL Fords.

Read/Clear ABS Codes on ED, EF, EL, NC, NF, NL, DC, DF, DL vehicles (where ABS is fitted).

Read/Clear AirBag codes on EF and early model EL (pre 1998) and equivalent NF, NL, DF, DL.

Diagnose your EFI system, Transmission, ABS and Airbag via the OBD1 self diagnostic systems built into the systems in your Ford. Initiate self diagnosis as well as read the codes stored in the vehicles systems memory.

The DCR Unit provides easy access to the diagnostic activate and indicate functions.
Codes are indicated via a large 3 digit display - displays 2 and 3 digit codes.
Activate KOEO, KOER and Wiggle tests including cylinder balance tests on V8 engines.
Perform clearance of the codes including clearing Memory Codes.
Select Engine codes, Transmission Codes, ABS codes or AirBag codes via the selector switch.

The DCR Unit also has a USB interface for connection to PC, Laptop, PDA, etc. The USB interface is via a commonly used industry standard interface device. USB drivers for XP, Vista, 7, Mac, CE, Win Mobile, Pocket PC, etc are provided on CD-ROM or can be downloaded. Display on the PC, Laptop, PDA, etc, is via a standard terminal application (Hyperterm, iTerminal, puTTY, etc) no special software required.

The DCR unit comes with:-

70 page Detailed User Instructions for accessing, reading and clearing codes.
Full code tables for Engine, Trans, ABS and Airbag systems for all XF to EL models (incl Fairlane/LTD).
CD-ROM with USB drivers for XP, Vista, 7, Mac, CE, Win Mobile, Pocket PC, etc.
USB cable
XF-EA-EB Adapter cable.

Note:- the DCR-OBD1 unit will only work with the models nominated above. Will not work with AU or later Falcon.
