i've just finished my turbo build on the old eb falcon and now i need to install my wolf 3d v4, just having a lill trouble through on how, all the sensors and injectors should be fine to wire but im finding the ignition to be a bit tricky to work out, does anyone have a diagram or can explain very well on to how to wire up the wolf to the eb ignition system? any help would be great!!

you have to pull the dissy out ,and modify the wheel inside it,and you will need a ignitor as well

id use the coil pack mate ,dizzy is way to hard ,you will need an ignitor and an inductor interface ,i have one here if you want to buy it .

ok, so if i use the coil pack do you know how that is wired up, i've got the sensor on the crank as well as the synchronizer :? which goes where the dissy would and coil pack, do i use the crank sensor as the input trigger or what?
and does anyone know why this system was used in the ef but the changed back to dissy in el? where they a problem, or not as good, or cost? and ideas.

just been out in the shed looking at my new engine and being out of a ef i've put the crankshaft sensor back in so im wondering if i could use that as a trigger input then just use the distributor as the camshaft/distributor sensor, been reading the installation manual and it says i need 3 trigger points on crankshaft and 6 on distributor which it already has so would that work?

If your going to run the EF/AU coil packs, all you need to use is the Crank position sensor. If you are going to stick with the Dizzy setup you will need to modify the dizzy to get it working, Turbo_Ghia know all about this.
If you want to make up a cable I can send though the pin outs. Or I can make one up for you for $15. All it is, is a serial cable with a 15 pin VGA plug on one end.

Good luck with it all.

Does the wolf run alright with the 36-1 crank sensor or does it need to be modified?

Runs fine, but does need a filter box, I think they are about $30-$50 from wolf.

yer if you could send me the details on how to make one that would be great!!
so what your saying is that if i use the coil pack i don't have to worry about the camshaft sensor and only need to hook the 2 wires from the crank sensor to wolf and thats the input trigger? do i have to modify the balancer at all-as in the trigger points? and from the coil pack there are 4 pins where do they go?
i feel like im getting somewhere now :D

There is no modification to the 36-1 harmonic balancer (EF/AU) needed at all.
You will need a filter box which the two wires from the crank position sensor run into, then two wire run from that to the Wolf.

You will also need a igniter to fire the coils. I've got an M&W 3 channel igniter I'm not using if you need to buy one.
You simply run the ignition outputs from the wolf into the ignitor, then run the 4 wires from the coil packs into the igniter and bingo you have a wasted spark setup running. You don’t need to use camshaft position sensor at all.
