You would probably be fine with 24lb injectors however I would go just for some head room. 24lb injectors support around 320kw at stock pressure while 30lb's handle about 395kw. Just make sure you get the matching MAF for these if you are going to run a chip or piggyback comp.
As for the tuning side, what car is this in? If EB/ED then the Tweecer is a good option allowing you to edit the factory EEC, otherwise I would probably go for the Unichip (not a great option IMO, but it will do the job and is quick, easy and cheap) as I haven't seen any other custom chip tuner in adelaide. |

EV6 are the wrong connector type for your EB, you need EV1. Cheapest option for new EV1 injectors is to order them straight from the US, or if you don't want the hassle of doing that, contact MrLandau ( http://www.fordmods.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=26) and he can set you up with injctors and a Pro-M MAF to suit.
Being an EB XR8 your EEC may be supported by Tweecer which would be a cheap and excellent way to tune your car. Because it starts with your existing factory tune as a base, you can do all the tuning yourself (you really only need to change the engine displacement, fuel injector slopes and MAF function, and then the play with the fuel and timing maps a little bit). |

If they are EV6's then they will fit in but generally the wiring plug is often different and you would have to get new plugs and rewire the loom or get the adaptors for about $250. (some EV6's do come with the right plug though, but I would check the exact flow specs of those because they may be different from the general EV1's used in Ford V8's causing some tuning difficulties). I have used FMS EV1 19lb (stock), 24lb and now 42lb in my ED XR8. |

A 75mm or larger would be a good option, but if you run a Tweecer you can use what ever MAF you want because you just change the MAF and Injector values in the EEC. |

Rick - you have an email but what Grant has said is correct. The EV6 injectors will fit into the rails but the plug is completely different and an AU injector loom would need to be sourced. Also need to check the numbers on the injectors and compare it to Bosch's website. If they are the BA turbo injectors they are 28.8 lb/hr - if the MAF is calibrated to 30 lb/hr it will run slightly lean.

Well that is possible but I would want to check the exact flow figures and the pressure they are tested at, because if the injector flow rate is off it will make tuning harder. This is probably the reason why most high powered E-series V8's run Ford Motorsport / Bosch injectors because the MAFs are generally calibrated for them. |
