Is it possible to fit an AUII XR6 ECU into an AUII Futura??

Both are auto's, what will happen to the Futura auto though, it has the econ switch and the XR6's have no switch and adaptive shift.

yes its very possible, but it wont run unless you have it coded to your smartshield.

There would be next to no benefit fitting an xr ecu to a standard falcon. all its ignition and fuel tables are set to bring out the best for the xr head cam and fuel pressure.

much better off getting your standard ECU flash tuned.

I just had the tickford police performance spec uploaded onto my ecu, with a manual reprogram, raise rev limit and remove speed limiter for $220 at BPR performance in geelong.

perfect mate. I can drive it under 2k rpm now without it chucking a spaz. Revs more freely up top too. amazing how easily it was all done. BPR are great.
