Thanks Snap, you've helped me once again, much appreciated. It was exactly what I was looking for (I want to add a shift kit to speed up those loooooong gear changes).

Yeah, good for you mate. Not sure, but I think TI perf have modded shifting for the AU's via a J3 chip.
Have a look at the thread - IIRC it's mentioned in the last couple of pages.

A chip is a bit more than I need. For all my auto's I just add 0.7 ohm to VPS and the changes are nice and fast/firm. I'm assuming the AU V8 (with trans control intergal to the ecu ie. a pcm) uses the same resistance as older TCM controlled e-series V8's. Since the trans is swappable between A and E series V8's, this should be a valid assumption....
