the conversion is not difficult, and I think it is WELL worth it. You won't regret it.

Cheers

Yeah, Does anyone know the rough costs involved. I would imagine theres a doco here as well. Im not very engine literate, would it be better to get someone else to put it in? Do i get the parts from Ford Spare Parts? Thanks

have a read :
http://www.ford-tech.com/articles.php?articleId=47

And you can get the parts from Ford Spare parts if you are willing to take a loan this size of a new car.

Get the parts second hand.. search around.
Ebay is your friend.

Cheers

it is very worth while doing.
I done the conversion on my EF on monday it only took two hours to change the gear boxs and computers over. It should only take two to three houors to change the pedal box to a manual one.
The cost can be up to $1500.00 it just depends on what you are buying and how good it is.

Mine only cost me $350.00 but I had to buy a new clutch and pedal box ($245.00 new from ford). You can even use your auto tail shaft, I did, but I picked up a manual one this morning for free so will be using it.

by yourself, a VERY long time, and you need to know the basics... but I guess if you follow some guides the people have posted up there was one on ford-tech, you should be alright.

Cheers

rather than doing it yourself, you can find 3 top blokes to give you a hand (basically do it all) and pay way less than what a mechanic charges. check out your local wreckers, i picked my full conversion up for 1000 bucks :D :D :D
