Hi

I filled up the car with the BP elite fuel and i must say that it is f**k s**t.

It made my car idle like crap and for some reason makes my gear changes really bad. Has this happened to any one. Now i have to wait till the tank is empty.

What is this Elite fuel you speak of? What octane is it?

I'll head to BP website and check it out.

Ithe elite fuel is the bp blend of 10% ethanol and regular unleaded. It is the same price as the normal premium unleaded. I guess it may be the regualr unleaded part(s**t fuel). I will wait till shell brings out their 100 octane(with ethanol in it). It's supposed to be good and if the are using it in the v8 supercars next year then it must be good.

So no one has tried this fuel anywhere?????

I thought it would atleast be available in sydney.

Ahh found info on it now. Seems to be more environmentally friendly and thats about it.

It would be good in the future if we can have cars on 100% ethanol because its 100% renewable due to the "carbon cycle" (BPs words not mine). hahahaha.

Hmm the possibilities seem to be rather good.

i use synergy 8000 imo the shell premium burns 2 fast, and i have shell, caltex and mobil near me. safeway fuel is ghey, shell burns 2 quick, that leaves me with mobil :D go synergy

Yeah no matter what car I'm running I always get a good feeling from 8000. Even on my old XF and my assheap TR Magna... My BA loves it.

Can I ask what's the deal with the "Unleaded 95"? Is it just added ethanol to make the fuel more environmentally friendly with "no risk to your newer car"? *ahem* it's a 4 odd cent per liter saving yes... but is it really as nice as they say?
