Ok well i was just siphoning a little petrol outa my ef wich i have never done before, everything going well untill i tried to pull the hose out .... IT WAS STUCK so i was pulling and pulling then realised that it was that lil clip that sorta closes of the hole to your tank when nothing is in there and it was tryna close i guess and by doing so it was stopping the hose coming out. anyway long story short it ended up breaking off and falling inot my tank!!
Is this a major problem? will it disintegrate and wreck something. How would i go about getting it out... or would i be best just leaving it in there

there is filter on the pump, so nothing bad will happen, will just sit in the bottom of the tank.

the little "flap" thing has been stuck in the filler neck of my car sice i got the damn thing, only problem i ever encountered was that i couldnt pump petrol into it at the bowser properly because it kept flowing back up the neck and cutting out, if yours starts doing this, put a length of hose down there and push it right to the bottom,
