Hi guys,i cant run a proper self test on my falcon.I am using the ford diagnostic tool and my car wont go into the proper test mode, but i was able to extract a code tht was logged and it was the neutral switch.I was wondering if i disconnect the wires from the switch and bridge them together would this effect my fuel economy or the computer at all???If it does effect anything i will just replace it with a new item.I also have found out that this switch is not letting me run a self test because it must be telling my computer that its in gear when it not.Cause i have come across the similar symptoms on a EB falcon a couple of years ago and i just replaced the switch.but i just want to know if it is possible to just bridge the wires...Thanks
