Hi all,
I want to change the standard ECU to a Police Spec ECU on my AU3 Falcon SR.
I have fitted the Police ECU to the car, but it will not Crank, the Smart Shield light flashes contstantly ever after leaving the Ignition on for over an hour. HELP!!

Do I need to fit the BCM (which I have) as well??

Any help would be appreciated.

You might have to go to Ford and get your BCM and stuff reprogrammed to suit the ECU. Thats why I didnt fit the ghia dash to my ute.

I think a J3 switch can disable the smartsheild too if you want an alternative.

Why do you want the ECU? Is there any benefit?
