Hey guys I have an el falcon with option 20 but I noticed that the ecu was different its a 6dbb which is a 97 el auto fairmont today I got another ecu from the wreckers an it's a 6dba which is el gli 4.0 auto with option 20 and something to do with a 3:23:1 diff which I also have would it be safe to swap them around or would I have to get it tuned ??? Sorry for the long post any help appreciated

yes... they are esentually the same ecu.. the only difference is the 6dba is a first revision and the 6dbb is the 2nd, otherwise exactly the same..

no different.. the option 20 had 3.23 diff, so does the fairmont...

Oh ok cheers I think I might aswel put it in cause my cars option 20 same as the 6dba if u no what I mean and what the difference between this one and a standard one cheers for the replys guys
