A cop EEC is no different to the others except for the speed limiter being turned off.

In actual fact you can do that anyway...they are all rev limited. Power has normally dropped off by the time you hit the limiter so shifting on the limiter will actually make you go slower.
If you want to go faster than the speed limiter you can fit a switch in your VSS line to the EEC. Once you've shifted into top you can flick the switch so the EEC no longer knows what speed you're doing...therefore it can't limit it. Make sure you switch it back on so your auto knows when to shift again. If it's manual it don't matter.
