I assume that a 2 bar sensor is just as easy to configure to work as a 3 bar? |

Is your car boosted?
How are you tuning it? J3 chip or a proper ECU? Can your ECU log? Im using a BA 2 bar map sensor. I just scaled the voltage the same as the 1 bar GM sensor and it seems to log ok and tell me where I need to make changes ok. |

Yes, I have a Powerdyne supercharger running on it (running 9 psi of boost). I have had a boosted Falcon for around five years now. When I first did it, none of this stuff was around, it was a lot harder to tune the vehicle, it's only now that I'm looking for smoother performance and better performance that I'm having to play catch ups. I have just changed over from the original Chip Torque chip to a J3. I currently have a slightly modified version of the tune that was on the Chip Torque chip on the J3. I am now installing the 2J1 module in order to monitor the AFR and also do some logging in order to improve the current tune. I just looked on eBay and the GM MAP's are fairly cheap, so I'll grab one. Currently bidding on a 3 Bar, but if I end up with a 2 Bar that is fine. The yellow wire is an output, i've updated my post Long day.
You'll need a 2 bar to log any kind of boost.

I'm off to go and wire it in then.
I'm also splicing an Autometer C2 Wideband AFR gauge in to the loom as well, as I don't want the ugly a** TechEdge LD02 Red LED Display in my cabin for everyday driving and the Autometer matchs the boost gauge. There isn't a WOT switch on the EF is there? The TPS output varies. The Autometer gauge has a WOT Peak/Recall Mode and WOT Alarm/Warning Mode, but they require a WOT switch. Is there any signal from the ECU or anything for WOT that could be used? |

Does anyone know of where exactly to hook up the RPM input from an EL EEC V 60 pin connector ECU? Im not sure there is an RPM out from the ECU like in the 104 pin EEC V from an EF.
So if there isnt then whats the best spot to get the RPM signal from? Cheers Tim |

Does the gas ecu (sprint-gas) get an input from the O2 sensor?
im thinking this is the case: the o2 sensor (original narrowband) output goes into the gas ecu and its then output from that into the EL ecu as the HEGO input on the car ecu has been cut and a different wire is running to it. can anyone confirm? i suppose i should be inputting the NBsim to both ecu's? |

The Petrol ECU shouldn't see an O2 signal on LPG (and vice versa if you have a more intelligent LPG system) so it doesn't learn fuel mixtures when it can't control them. Run a wire out from NBsim out to wherever the factory O2 sensor was tapped into so that you leave this switching in place.
