Battery went flat and had new one put in. This was 2 weeks ago. The car idles rough since then and runs funny.
Someone told me I have to reset the computer to make it run ok again.
Can anyone give me some help on this one?
The car is my sister's ED Futura auto.
Cheers
Ken

To reset the computer you leave the battery off for a few hours (normally overnight) which is exactly waht you did when the battery went flat. Normally it takes a couple of hundred kms to come right again but if you are still having problems after that then reset it again, sometimes it just gets some bad data after the reset which causes problems. Once you reset the computer, you should let it idle for a while and then take it for a good drive, I find driving it hard initially sets it up a bit better.
