Good stuff, do you think you can get it pre tuned so you dont have 2 go to capa?

ok...these chips are supposed to be released about now, have many people placed any orders for them yet?
it would be good to hear peoples results/feedback after they are installed and tuned....

hi guys im new to ford mods and was just browsing. i came across this post now im not sure if i have what you guys talk about but i think its close . i payed $1500 and had a chip installed to the factory ecu (auto) and apparently it makes the factory computer fully programmable. unfortunately im not so happy with it i only gained 20hp at the wheels. i have an eb falcon 5 speed with 2 1/2 in. exh. street port and polish, cam and a few other little bits and after all the tuning i ended up with 150kw at the wheels kinda pathetic if you ask me.

Chips are meant to increase driveability rather than just give you a higher peak power figure. Isn't a good idle and more power all along the rev range better than just having a peak power figure to brag about?

Yes.
Not that 150rwkw is anything to be unhappy of anyway.
Thats a fairly serious figure, good for mid 14s in a manual EB easily.
Can't just say 'I only have 150rwkw, my tune sucks'.

I think people have got the wrong idea about this while thing.
It's not a magical box that will turn your car into a monster.

yeah.. considering that a stock eb would be lucky to have 100rwkw stock these days.. I think 150rwkw is huge.

so anyway... any reviews yet? I was looking into getting the dimasquirt, but they take way too long to reply to emails - can only imagine how long i would have to wait for the ecu!

Good thing about this is I've heard BPT does this... So will be much easier for me

Talk to Simon aka "Xtreme F6". He's new on the forums.. he supplies, installs, and tunes the capa chips.
