CAPA = more than you'd expect...probably about $1000 plus dyno time for tuning...just a guess here

This is the switchable J3 chip version of the SCT/CAPA Flash Tuner. E-Series dont support OBDII so they must be "chipped" rather than "flashed".

It uses exactly the same SCT Advantage software as the AU/BA/BF version.

This is very good news for E-Series owners :)

More info on the original SCT Eliminator chip here, http://www.sctflash.com/product_chip.php

Lol. Always been a big fan of their work hey dave?

Good to see CAPA have come to the table for the 8 - 17 year old falcon market!! Using SCT technology of around the same vintage.

Took a while to crake all those catch codes i suppose lol.

No doubt a great product - would be PERFECT for those dabbling with forced induction. Personally i'd rather purchase the definition files for my EEC and get stuck into it with a tweecer....

$1000 - sounds a little conservative for my liking. I'll guess $1200.

If it's any more than $900, that will be a shame.

Can't wait to get my hands on one! Been waiting for this baby for ages!

Yeah i will be interested to see just how "easy" it is to use, and how much gain you get from it.
For a stock car (ie mine) to someone who has had head work, cam packages and the works, and somone with forced induction also.

True, the technology is no different to the Chiptorque stuff, or twEECer for that matter. This "edit" stuff is far from new...lol

The advantage is that the tuning software is available to a heap of tuners. No longer need to travel to Gold Coast, or fly Lachlan out to you, for a custom tune.
