alright well a mate of mine bought an ex-cop car and found a secret switch hidden just under the headunit??

a wire went straight to the computer

we have no idea what it was for? he ripped it out before checking lol

but we may think it might be a limiter?? what do u guys think?

it might of been a switch for the limiter which explains why the cop cars were so much faster

Its the switch that installs the copper ecu program which gives you an extra 100rwkw :P

ea dont have speed limiters..
afaik the speed limiter was introduced in the eb

really i never knew that i thought all the fords with the computers had speed limiters so wat is the switch for then

Its an EA - ~28years old
how many owners has it gone through ? at least the cops and 1 other before your mate got to it. highly think that someone added it for some reason, doubt it had anything to do with the cops though.

What pin did it go to ?

the switch was well hidden.. like you would not have known it was there


not sure on the pin?? ill find out tomorrow..

it seem abit wierd thats all??

probably a kill switch for the injectors...............or it turns the EA cop car into the delorean and activates the flux capacitor, for time travel ...lol...
