You sure its under, i thought all relays are beside the battery on the EA's

thats what I thought ? .. just been outside, could not seen any relays under the surge tank .

Just undo the screw and take the black cap off, remove a relay and turn the igntion on, you will hear when the fuel system does nothing.

OR

if you think it suspect swap relays around with something easy to test like putting it in the high beam.

think its the relay because no fuel pumps from the ingition, but when you hot-wire the fuel pump, it pumps out fuel then ..

Just use the highbeam relay then, better to have the car going
