Hey guys - scuse the early morning posting...

been having alot of trouble recently.

Did and engine swap to a 4.0 on my ea falcon.. still running cfi, auto 4spd. also have swapped in a newer auto unit.

somehow in the last few weeks some wires somewhere must have come loose and something under the dash has shorted. {i could smell it whenit happened}

this caused my auto controller to start playing up and at the same time burnt out my starter motor.

have since replaced starter motor and just tonight replaced the auto controller with a 2nd hand one.

problem is, it wont change out of first, when the cars lights are turned on i can hear something in the unit flicker for a bit... and when i hear that i usually see the "power" light on the dash flicker as well...

fuses are fine, fluid is new{and at correct levels} so it cant be that - it also hasnt been overheated at any stage... any hints? I think it may have been shift kitted but i really just dont know whats going on!

need to get this sorted as I DESPERATELY need this car for work!!
