I've hooked up a megasquirt v 2.2 up to my EA falcon and since doing so it has felt sluggish especially in the mid/top end. Fuel mix is ok, i've tuned it with a wide band meter, it feels like timing issues to me anyway.
I have the MS as fuel only, would the EA ecu have recognised some inputs missing like the temp sensors or injector outputs/idle control and done something to the timing like a limp home mode?

I'm not sure what behaviour to expect when looking at in with a timing light but i just hooked one up, it's a tad advanced of the IGN mark atm although i didn't have it in self test mode. When i rev the motor it moves towards the TDC mark which i believe is retarded? ( i was trying to rev it so it would move into different vac areas as well as revs) I know with mechanical dizzy it would advance as you rev it but i have no idea what to expect from an ECU mapped one.
