Can anyone help me with the wiring. The motor is installed an so was the wiring but after a huge auto electrician bill an the car still not going i decided to rip all the wiring out an start again. Ive got a full loom out of a eb series 1. Does this model have the smart lock as i think that was the whole drama last time as it didnt have any spark nor pulse at the injectors :x So any help an i will be very thankfull

with smartlock you will still get spark, just no injector pulse, if you had no spark you might not have had power to the coil + injectors.

EB1 generally dont have smartlock, but some late series 1's did so it really depends on what model the running gear came out of.

We checked the coil there was power getting there but none to the dizzy. So the sparky reckoned it was either the smart lock or the ecu was buggered but i drove the donor car home so all was working untill they wired it up in the xp. How hard do think it would be to wire the old girl at home. I done all the other work myself, the custom made inlet manifold, the engine mounts an the the gearbox crossmember an steering rack cross member
