Anyone had any experience with, or got thoughts on these fuel savers currently selling on Ebay?
Apparently they are a magnetic device containing an element called Neodymium. I probably sound cynical, but if they work why arent they publicised more. |

are they the metal cap u put on the injector?
if so apparantly they work. as in they help atomise the fule better! but i dont know how effective they are if it was that easy why wouldnt the car companys use it! could be worth a try i guess cant see it hurting |

These are the magnets which fit over the fuel line, and are fixed with cable ties or clamps.

Yeah they work, they cut your fuel bill in half, reduce emissions and solve 3rd world poverty all in 1 little device
But seriously if something like that worked, ford and all other car companies would be using them instead of spending millions in rersearch and development reducing fuel consumption. |

How much does it cost? If its not much, perhaps you should grab one, give it a try and review the product here on Fordmods.. let everyone know what you think
I guess if it doesnt do what the seller claims, there is always the relevant authorities to deal with false advertising

They are only $29.95 on ebay so I guess you aren't being ripped off big time, I like how they say vehicle manufacturers don't use them because they don't care about economy and emissions!!! Anyway for $30 you get
* Improves mileage up to 30 % * Enhances energy performances! * Reduces carbon monoxide emission * Smoother and quieter enqine! * Cleans engine, carburetor and spark plugs! * Engine sound will be changed from Sino cycle waves to square waves. * Engine temperature will be decreased. * At Gas burner , it will change the flame from orange colour to blue colour. * At waterline, it will change hard partices of water to soft particles. Almost sounds too good to be true |

Ive been told that they used s simular thing inWW2 on the US mustangs. Without it magnet on the fuel line they could only get halve way to berlin from England with hte magnet they could make it and back again. He has a smaller version on his late 70s corona wagonand claims it gets 7 ltrs round town. But that is all hear say, I'll see if I can borrow it and put it on the wagon and see what happens.

heyo,
i think $30 is a bit much for a magnet in a pretty yellow case. still i guess it cant hert, i have a few super neo magents laying around i'll put them on my car's fule like and see if i get "Enhances energy performances!" (which doesn;t really make sence) and "Engine sound will be changed from Sino cycle waves to square waves." which i'd really like to see/hear, since the only thing that can produce square wave sounds is a loud speaker connected to a frequency generator. still i guess they have to _try_ sound technical if they want to sell magnets the you strap to your fuel line in vain hopes of amazing performance gains. i'm not usually this cynical, but having an engineering background it anoys me when ppl prattle on like that cya Rene. |

I have one on a pristine XE that I own and on my cummins powered Kenworth and on my AU Fairlane. Remember when Brocky got in the s**t for going all new age and weird when he put a 'fuel ionizer' on his touring car?
Same deal. The magnets ionize the fuel molcules lining them up all in the same direction and extends mileage (although not by as much as they claim) and do tend to keep the fuel system cleaner overall.
