Not sure if this is the right forum however I have an interesting question. How does the temp gauge in any falcon get it's voltage, from the ECU or direct from the ECT? I need to connect up the temp gauge on the muzzie but can't find in any of the diagrams, except the efi one, where the ect wiring goes. I have probed pin 38 on the ecu to get the voltage going into the ecu but unsure if I can just run the gauge off that wire ie will it screw up the correct voltage going into the ecu?

any ideas?
