HELP!!!!! recently bought a 2nd hand Powerchip for a catch code 6DGC 5litre, but it don't work has someone out there got a spare incase mine was faulty! i don't wanna waste my money! please help me!

Hey guys,

Anyone help with this: 4DCG. 94DA- 12A650-CG

I though transmission types had to be A manual or B auto...

This is a C? He claims its out of a fairmont though so guess auto... Any idea whether its EF or EL?

ok what would a "ODBC" ecu be for?.

from the list i have 0DBC is a EAII 3.9L MPFI 4Spd Auto...

6DFD - 1998 series1 XR8 (lo-po).

it might mean low performance?? as in std 165kw

i think the car will drive ok..
i assume the differences would be in the fuel and timing maps..
for us i 6 guys its like fitting a std ecu into a xr6..

Ive done a manual conversion a few months ago and been looking for a manual ecu & this 1 has popped up for $200.
