Yep, it's VCT.

I've tried to put as much info as I can find onto the EEC Database on my site, not sure if people find it useful though.

Thanks for the quick reply sexyr6 your help is much appreciated :D , just one more for ya - am i correct in thinking WABE is a duel fuel ecu? a mate was wrecking a au series 1.5 forte classic and the ecu that come out of it was WABG and checking out the catch code list here, wabf is also duel fuel. If any members got a spare ecu (WADE) in good nick to suit au 1 futura 4.0 petrol/auto for sale please let me know via here  cheers maka

Should be plug and play afaik i changed my ecu in the 5.0 NF and just disconnected the battery, let it sit for a while (don't know why, but I did) unplugged and re-plugged new one reconnect battery and off you go, they are a "learning" ecu so once it's running right give her heaps and she will respond to that style of driving ( to some extent anyhow). :D

Smartshield ECUs cannot be swapped without a PATS relearn to train the BEM to the ECU.
