Some problems: when 5L selected (last row, search by engine) its all right on first page, but going to second page- and there are 4L as well there. After pressing "return" button going to "mixed mode" with 3,9, 4 and 5L engines.

Finally fixed this bug; thought I did it ages ago but didn't.

If anyone has submissions or edits to make let me know...

After reading thru this, Im wondering if my 20+L/100km may be linked to
my ECU. There has been some elterations to the car before i got it (EB).
Checked the unit just then, and its either bolted on backwards, all i can see
are the faint red numbers.
Two lines, one in particular, looks like it may mean something:
91DA 14401 AA
and
E9AF 14A624 AA

So can they be interpreted, or do i have to unbolt it, and look on the back,. . err . . front?
If anyone can puzzle me this:

thanx

Hi, my AUII Falcon sedan 6cyl dedicated LPG Auto has catch code 12LD.

I'm looking at getting a new ECU as I am getting 2 DTC's - P0500 & P0340, Vehicle speed sensor circuit & camshaft position sensor circuit.

I've put new sensors on and had the loom checked but still the DTC's appear straight away and the car goes into 'limp home safe mode' (always in 3rd gear)

Problem I have is I'm in the UK and have been told I'll need a dealer to marry the new ECU to my car, Does anyone know exactly what the procedure is? is it something my local garage could do with Ford IDS dealer tool? they had no problem extracting the fault codes with it.

Hope someone can help thanks.

Marc

Can I put a EL XR6 auto EEC5 ECU in my EBII? Mines a smartlock model not sure on the diff and they are both auto.
Oh and would it make a difference at all? I've Just been reseting my ECU when i want it to be more responsive...

I have another to add.

6DMA-1997 NL Fairlane Ghia Concorde. 4.0 Tickford Engine, Auto, 3.45LSD.

I'm guessing the Fairmont Ghia and others fitted with the XR6 motor but weren't XR6s had 6Dxx catch code ECUs instead of 6Txx. Seems to be the case looking at the list.
