4DMF.

Supposedly NF Fairlane Ghia.

Also seen in EF Fairmont Ghia, Tickford option.

Now seen in EF GLI auto WAGON with cruise control option, otherwise poverty pak.

Test fitted to EF Fairmont, non Tickford, non Ghia.

No noticeable difference between 4DCG, no fault codes logged in either vehicle.

Would be good to get a database going of all known ECU's, and all the different vehicles they may be found in.

Starting to think Ford only had 2 boxes, marked 'auto' and 'manual' and just flashed them as they were fitted, except the bloke fitting the stickers was dyslexic.

I finally got the ECU for my XG ticky motor from the last owner and he sent me a 3DAC. But i know there is a wrecked manual XG spac in his shed too.

I noticed on this list we have XG xr6 with no specification of auto or manual... hopefully this means the ecu could be tuned to either trans. That or it runs the ED computer. Thoughts?

In case this guy doesnt find the right one, does anyone here have an XG xr6 ecu they can part with?

You might be running an AU1 ECU with Smartlock disabled as part of your conversion? - perhaps with a J3 chip for tuning??

Was easier to do that in the past before they got smartshield disabled....

Y3DF runs the Calibration NGVB5D3.bin
After examining a Ford Calibration (From Source, not from a Harvest) It is a Manual Tune.

Y3EE (NGVB5E6.bin) is the Auto Calibration, after comparing them, there are only some idle control settings which are different and the idle region of the MAF Curve seems alittle richer.

Happy to Flash an AU V8 EEC to anything you need.... I have all the tools and All Ford Calibration files at my finger tips!

I work at a ford dealership and managed to get the part number for catch code 12UC. I can verify that it is out of an AU series 2/3 XR6 non VCT manual.

12UD is the same just a later revision

Full Part numbers are:

12UC - 12RC-12A650-UC
12UD - 12RC-12A650-UD

Hope this helps
