Post subject: ECU Compatability??? please help

hi there just wondering if i can put a xr6 ecu from either el or au ( I, II, III) into my ef xr couse mine's fkt if any 1 know please let me know

el should work, i dont think the au ones will because they have vct throttle sensors. But i do say that an ef one would be better

EL won't wory due to dizzy/coil differences in the ignition setup, AU is a completly different ECU so i believe...

so no - EF only!

El wont even plug in - Different plugs

AU has the same plug but wont work (I have tried out of desperation)

il sell you my ef xr6 ecu. auto, no speed limiter and i have a costome tuned power chip also if ur interested with shift mods
