Hi all, ive just bought a 2005 BA mkII turbo thats got 40000 kms of very soft driving under its belt, its never been thrashed or probably even revved past 5500 :D , I heard somewhere that the ecu has to learn the drive style of a new owner?? is this true or or crap

The ECU learns pretty quickly on your driving behaviour so dont thrash it and drive normally.

I have a 07 xr6t ex chaser when I first picked it up it was going like a bullet but after driving it for 2 years with the occasional boot it was picking up not as well as I first bought it I was told that the ecu on the ba and bf series are always learning with how u drive it but if u have 2 set of keys 1 granny driving and the 2nd thrashing the ecu is encoded to the keys that start the motor
