Check out T.I. Performance - they do the J3 programmable modules - which plug into the bottom of ur factory ECU and can be programmed to do whatever u want. You can just get a module preprogrammed with basic mods suitable program, else specify what uve got and they'll do a custom spec program - and then you can go for the complete package of gear to do ur own programming via a laptop or pc. There are various workshops that can do a proper tune on dyno etc. too - else decent quality tuners should be able to do it if you get the complete package and hand it all over to them with the car.

Module only with a custom program for under $300 from memory - that's excellent value!!

Those modules are pretty good - last I heard, they had even cracked the auto transmission maps?

I thought it WAS possible to have a version with external switch for different programs - ie. so yes it would be possible to have one setting for balls out fuel chewing grunt (well, as much as the car has anyway) and another for econocruising - not sure about that switching option tho - check them out, send an email if necessary or call them.
